Homeopathy Treatments:

Usually the first question I get is, "What is homeopathy?" Basically, homeopathy is a system of causing the body to heal itself. It's based on a simple theory of "like cures like." The medications used in homeopathy are very, very diluted substances that trigger the body's own immune response.

Homeopathy Remedies

There's no "one-cure-cures-all" approach. A homeopathic practitioner bases his judgment and gives medicine based on what is best for each patient. The idea is to trigger the body's own immune response so a substance that would cause symptoms in a healthy person is used to cure those same symptoms in another person's illness. One remedy that might be used for a person suffering from insomnia is coffea, a remedy made from coffee which in healthy people produces wakefulness.

So far scientific proof has eluded researchers. There's no explanation of why homeopathy works, but it does work, and some new theories in quantum physics are beginning to shed light on the process.

Homeopathic remedies are unique. They come from plants, animals, and minerals, but they are so diluted that they pose no danger even to very sensitive people or to pregnant women. Homeopathy has been widely used to treat ailments from acute fevers, sore throats, and toothache, to chronic illnesses such as arthritis, eczema, asthma, anxiety, mild depression, and chronic fatigue syndrome.

A homeopathic practitioner considers both the mind and the body of a patient. He or she will spend as much time delving into the mind of the patient as in physically examining the patient. He or she will create a "picture" of the problem and then select a remedy closest to the patient's individual symptom picture.

Healing comes from within the body.  General health and the immune system are strengthened without any danger of damaging side effects, and the body heals itself.
