Prescription Medicine Alternatives:

Long, long before the pharmaceutical companies were manufacturing those little magic pills intended to treat everything from A to Z, people have gotten sick, taken medicine, and gotten well again. Long, long before there was a drugstore and a doctor with a prescription pad on every corner, the world has had medicine. The earth has supplied it in the form of plants.

Prescription Alternatives

The science that created every one of those little magic pills prescribed by doctors is based on herbal medicine, and the enormous body of information about herbs that has been collected over the last 5,000 years. The medications that doctors prescribe today almost all have a natural alternative. There's more. The drugs that are prescribed by doctors are synthetic versions of herbs, and these synthetic versions have side effects that aren't caused by the all-natural herbs they are based upon.

And one more thing: the herbal alternatives to prescription drugs are cheaper — a LOT cheaper. So how and where do you find these better but far less expensive herbal substitutions for prescription drugs? The first step is to find a herbalist, one that has had training in herbal medicine. Anybody can own a health food store, and anybody can sell herbal medicines because herbal medicines aren't government regulated. No special license is required, and no prescription is required, either; so you really need to find a person who is trained in herbal medicine.

You could research herbs yourself, but I don't recommend it. There is a lot of information about herbs and the human maladies they treat available on the Internet and in hard copy books. There's no shortage of information, but information without the knowledge of how to use it can be a dangerous thing. So first consult a trained herbalist, and then follow the herbal regime that the herbalist recommends.
